Is anyone else (besides me) concerned about the decision that many strip properties are taking towards condos and high end joints?
Last Thursday, the CEO of Boyd Gaming commented that the Barbary Coast property would be great high a high-rise condo rebuild. I still think that Boyd will eventually sell to Harrahs. The property sits in the middle of the massive collection of Monopoly-like properties that Harrahs owns.
I'm sure (and it has been insinuated) that the Stardust will go high-end when it is redeveloped.
Does anyone find irony in the Bourbon Street Hotel closing due to a water main break? Water doesn't like New Orleans or New Orleans themed hotels ?
Here is a funny picture I found at DribbleGlass.com
