I hate idiots! I hate people who only have the sole purpose of making other people more miserable. I hate people who play poker like they can't wait to get rid of their money then get lucky and win the hand.

Case in point, this AM I am playing a single table $10 NL tourney. I get dealt AA, guy in front of me raises to ALL IN. I've got him covered 2 to 1. In other words, I lose I am still in the game. So, I go ALL IN, guy behind me goes ALL IN too. the other players cards were JJ and 9Q. Flop comes out A3J Turn was 8, River was T. So, A-hole numero 2 makes a Straight and I'm gone.

I'm addicted to Amerie. Have you heard of her? She has a song out called "1 Thing" that I have listened to for over an hour straight today. I can't describe the attraction accurately. I love the beat, I love her voice. I love to look at her. There is something Red Hot Chili Peppers-like about the song. The song was in the movie Hitch with Will Smith.

Thank God for Napster. Amazon is great too.

Absolute Poker

I want the chick in the pic :) I've been finding that I am playing a lot more Poker at Absolute Poker than in the past. For one, there are less players. Why is this good? Well, I get to know them and their play better. Of course, the flip side is true as well. But, I am betting on the theory that people are primarily lazy and don't take the time to learn their opponents.

For example, I won a tourney this AM that cleared me $140. Two days ago, I won $72 in the same tourney. It took a lot more work to do that at PartyPoker. The odds decreased badly at Party when you are competing with 500 people in a game to win $3K.

I'm trying to get a private tourney setup for all of my peeps. Oh god, it happened. I dropped the word "peeps" in my vocabulary. I worked with a former co-worker at an appearance for the Bob and Sheri nationally syndicated radio show last Friday and she uses the word liberally. Then, I ran into her again yesterday so it was bound to happen. It is better than homies, I guess.

Plenty of room at the Wynn

I was just reading up on Expedia that there are plenty of rooms available over the next 60 days. Prices start at $199/night. I figured the place would be sold out. Anybody have a feel for the occupency level currently?
