March Madness is officially over. I ended up in 5th place in our bracket. Our bracket winner was etlease. Eric is a former classmate of mine from Ohio Northern University. He and his wife, Devin allowed me to disc jockey their wedding too...

Eric was in 4th place in the whole enchilada at one point. He correctly picked Georgia Tech. However, like me, he picked Duke to beat UCONN and Duke to beat Ga. Tech. He does win a consolation prize from us here at VegasKyle of a book I love called The Richest Man In Babylon.

Didja see? Supposedly, J-Lo's mom won $2.4 Mil at the Borgata Saturday night playing $1 Wheel Of Fortune. She said the money will change her life. Yeah, right...

Yesterday, I was off from my typical mobile disc jockey job so I thought the wife and I would do a little gambling. Well, earlier in the week my brother and I won an auction on EBAY for some old arcade games. They had to be picked up in 5 days so we made a journey to Youngstown, OH to pick them up.

We stopped at a nearly abandoned laundromat on our way back so I could see the terrible condition it was in. You may not know that I co-own a couple of laundromats. I think it was a ploy by my brother to get me to quit harping on him about bad repair issues we have.

Anyway, I called my wife to tell her I was on my way to pick her up to go to Wheeling Downs. She said it was too late to go....I was mad so I hung up. I have been looking forward to this for a couple of weeks. I ended up calling her back and offering to meet her half way. She agreed. So, we went to my favorite restaurant, Undos. Then, it was off to the track.

Nicole, my wife, likes to gamble but she gets very angry and depressed when she loses. She also has bad luck at slots. She likes nickels even though they rarely pay off. I start with nickels and move to quarters after a while. Last night, I won maybe $60 total. No huge wins but I won on nearly 3/4 of the machines I played. My theory is that once I am ahead I never cash out less than I put in. I also, once ahead, will not keep playing if I lose 10 pulls in a row. Weird, I know.
