Before I start with Las Vegas news I am going to go off on a tangent to a site of a friend I want you to check out... Pamela is the Queen Of Indiana and she is a disc jockey friend of mine from another board I am a moderator at DJChat. Anyway, Pam makes these incredible bags as well and is an incredible artist. OK, on to Vegas. I had a fellow member of DJChat that was looking for a room in Las Vegas during the annual National Association Of Broadcasters convention. Ironically, he was going to be in town not for that but for a seminar to learn to be a hypnotist. Anyway, he realized he was in trouble when seeing high room rates.
He was about to settle for the Gold Spike(don't let the website fool you) when I referred him to Lady Luck via SAVE UP TO 75% ON ALL TRAVEL!!!

Sheldon Adelson to Build Rival Mega-Resort
(Mar. 29) -- A new project by Venetian owner Sheldon Adelson could overshadow rival Steve Wynn. Adelson intends to build a 53-story mega-resort right across the street from Wynn's new resort.
The new project will be called "The Palazzo". It will be 105-feet taller than Wynn Las Vegas. The Palazzo is expected to have 3,000 rooms and cost more than $1 billion to build.
Have you heard? This is nuts. I bet Steve Wynn is pissed off! The Tam O' Shanter, the Vagabond and a mini-mall were demolished for this. This will be directly across from the TI. Progress...
