and finished it in less than 24 hours. It is a very easy read. I was left wanting more to be frank. I told my wife that the story seemed just real enough that I am almost afraid to gamble. The story is so intriguing that it was hard to put the book down because you wanted to see what was going to happen next. I had been to most of the casinos mentioned in the book so I was able to follow along with the descriptions and comprehend how hard (at times) the job of breaking the casino yet not burning it down happened to be.
Get a copy today and clear off a section of your schedule to read it. You will love it!

The Silver City Casino on the north end of the Strip is no more. Well, it hasn't been open for years but yesterday they tore it down. It is slated to be a small shopping center of about 6 stores, anchored by a Ross Dress For Less. I was doing a little research on Silver City. Did you know they were the first "Smoke Free" casino?
The Binion's deal is still unfinished. As I understand it, the property that Binion's sits on is owned by seven different people. There are actually seven different parcels. There is a guy that owns app. 4000 sq. ft. of the building that is holding out. I have a feeling there are 900 pissed off people.

OK, this next post isn't very Vegas related at the start but I'll finish up Vegas related. My wife is a school teacher (teaches K) at a school that is being remodeled.
